What is the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170?
In short, the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 is a dragster that also meets the necessary requirements to be street-legal. The Demon 170 uses the 6.2L supercharged HEMI V8 that the Hellcat uses. However, its supercharger is a much larger one provided by Dodge Direct Connection. Using E-85 Ethanol fuel, the Demon 170 achieves 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, using Premium E-10 fuel, the Demon 170 still reaches 900 horsepower and 810 lb-ft of torque. Actual power output numbers are determined by sensing the fuel's ethanol content. The Demon 170 has also been crowned with many accomplishments, including Dodge's quickest vehicle in its 100-year history, the first-ever eight-second quarter-mile muscle car in automotive history, the world's quickest production car, and the most powerful muscle car in the world.

Requirements to Order a 2023 Dodge Demon 170
Similar to the original Demon, released in 2018, drivers are required to sign a letter of acknowledgment that the 2023 Demon 170 is a unique high-performance vehicle with unique capabilities, systems, components, and characteristics. In addition to the letter acknowledging its high-performance nature, the purchase of a Demon 170 gives owners access to partake in a one-day SRT Experience class at Radford Racing School, Dodge//SRT's high-performance school of driving. This course is also accessible for owners of all new Dodge SRT vehicles. Customer orders, along with a notarized customer acknowledgment letter, must be received before May 15th, 2023. Demon 170 models purchased at MSRP will be given priority.
