The 6.4-liter V8 engine arrives with an impressive 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. That engine offers a maximum best-in-class towing capacity of 16,320 lbs. when properly equipped. 

The available 6.7-liter Cummins® Turbo Diesel six-cylinder engine offers even more towing power. That engine's maximum towing capacity comes in an impressive 17,980 lbs. thanks to a total output of 270 horsepower and 800 lb-ft of torque.

2017 RAM 3500

Heavy-duty capability comes standard in the 2017 Ram 3500. This tough truck offers a gasoline and diesel engine option, both of which are tuned to tow. 

The 6.4-liter V8 engine offers 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque for a total maximum towing capacity of 16,520 lbs. 

The 6.7-liter Cummins® Turbo Diesel six-cylinder offers a maximum power output of 385 horsepower and 900 lb-ft of torque. 

That kind of performance brings towing capability to a whopping 31,210 lbs. when properly equipped.
