The base engine is a 3.6-liter V6 which is powerful enough, but things get upped when you add two electric motors and a highly energized lithium-ion battery. This entire setup connects to an automatic transmission, and power is sent to the front wheels. The output for this engine is 260 horsepower which is the best in the class. If you decide to run the Pacifica hybrid on battery alone, it can travel up to 32 miles, and with a full tank of gas and a fully charged battery, the total range is 520 miles!
